The Government Affairs Team at Professional Oklahoma Educators is dedicated to working alongside POE members to improve K-12 education across Oklahoma. Working with POE members, we strive to make a positive impact for students, educators, and communities in our great state.
Member Advocacy
POE members are a central part of our advocacy team. Members stay actively engaged in the legislative process through regular updates, legislative surveys, and face-to-face meetings with lawmakers. Facilitating open and ongoing dialogue between members and lawmakers is vital to producing sound education policy and improving the academic experience for Oklahoma students.
