POE’s Capitol Corner is designed to be a one-stop shop for all legislative and political activities impacting education in Oklahoma. Our goal is to provide our members with accurate and timely information so they can make informed decisions on policy issues affecting the classroom.
On POE’s Capitol Corner, you will find legislative resources covering government processes and procedures, an overview of Oklahoma’s Legislature, and articles detailing current legislative affairs.
During Oklahoma’s Legislative Session, which spans from February until the end of May, we send out regular updates on legislative issues and occasional action alerts on time-sensitive matters. We also send out regular legislative surveys to our members so we can more fully understand their positions on relevant topics. The collected survey results directly inform our lobbying efforts at the Capitol.
